Lauki ki Sabzi Recipe/ Vidhi

Bottle guard/ Lauki is a very tasty veg. We like it when made simple. If planning for wait loss, this is best thing, made in less oil and very nourishing . Here a very simple recipe is given to prepare it, try it. Very simple to make and very tasty  in taste. Serve it with Roti or Paratha. Lauki ki Sabji recipe is available in Hindi (हिंदी) and English both.

Ingredients of Lauki ki Sabzi:-

  • Bottle Guard/ Lauki – 1 kg
  • Tomato – 2 piece
  • Asafetida – ½ teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
  • Red Chili Powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ½ teaspoon
  • Pure Ghee – ½ table spoon
  • Fresh Green Coriander – to garnish

How to prepare Lauki ki Sabzi:-

  • Take Lauki, peel it and cut in small pieces.

  • Wash it.
  • Wash and cut Tomatoes in small pieces.

Lauki with Tomato लौकी में टमाटर

  • Take cooker on high gas and put Pure Ghee in it.
  • When Ghee is heated put Asafetida, Cumin Seeds, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder add Lauki and Tomatoes in it and Salt.

Lauki in cooker लौकी कुक्कर में

  • Close cooker lid and wait for whistle.
  • After 4 whistle close gas.
  • When steam is over, open cooker and put Garam Masala in it.
  • Your delicious Lauki ki Sabji is ready to serve.
  • Serve it with Roti or Paratha.
