Ingredients of Moti Hari Mirch ka Achar:-
- Moti Hari mircha – 250gm
- Rai / brown mustard seeds – 2 table spoon grind it to powder
- Coriander powder – 2 table spoon
- Ajwain – ½ table spoon grind it to powder
- Saunf/ Aniseed – 2 table spoon grind it to powder
- Amchoor powder/ Khatai – 1 table spoon
- Turmeric powder – 1 table spoon
- Salt – 1.5 table spoon
- Asafetida – 1 teaspoon
- Methi – Half teaspoon
- Mangrel – Half teaspoon
- Mustard oil – 250 ml
How to prepare Moti Hari Mirch ka Achar:-
First Step –
- Take Green Chili, wash them, put a cut in between and then cut them into small pieces.
- Now put pieces of Green Chili on towel or cotton cloth for 2 hours in sun light to dry.
- Take Saunf, Mangrel, Rai, Methi, Ajwain in a grinder and grind it.
Step 2 –
- Now take a bowl, keep Green Chili pieces in it and put all Masalas and Oil in it.
- Mix it well.
- If you feel that Masala is dry, you can pour more Mustard Oil in it.
- Masala should be semi solid.
- Cover it with a jali, keep it for 5-6 days in sun daily.
- Mix it well 2-3 times in day.
- Now after 6 days, keep it in a glass open jar or bottle with broad mouth, cover it, do not fix the cap.
- Keep it in sun for a week.
- Hot Tip:– In the evening keep your Achaar inside.
- Mix it 2-3 times in a day.
- In 15 days your Achaar is ready to eat.
