Corn Palak, we all love to have it in restaurants as it is very tasty and healthy too. It is very easy to make and is full of taste. Corn Palak Recipe is available in Hindi (हिंदी) and English both.
Ingredients for Corn Palak:-
- Spinach/ Palak – 700 gm
- Corn Kernels – 200 gm
- Green Chili – 2 finely chopped
- Onion – 2 medium size finely chopped
- Garlic Paste – 2 teaspoon
- Ginger – 6 gm cut into longitudinal thin strips
- Red Chili Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Oil – 1.5 tablespoon
- Amchoor Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Curd – 2 tablespoon
- Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
- Kasoori Methi roasted – 1/2 teaspoon
How to prepare Corn Palak:-
- Take a Bhagona on high flame and put corn and water in it to boil.
- When a nice aroma of corn starts coming, feel it, if it is soft take it out in a strainer.
- Keep it aside.
- Boil water in a big bhagona, when it is boiling, put all the chopped Spinach in it for a minute.
- Strain it and put cold water in it.
- Again strain it and make Spinach paste.
- Keep it aside.
- Take a kadahi on high flame, put Oil in it.
- When heated put Onions in it and wait till it is light brownish.
- Simmer gas.
- Now add Garlic Paste, Ginger strips and Green Chilies to it and let it fry till brownish in color.
- Add Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder and Amchoor Powder to it, mix well.
- Add Spinach paste to it, mix well.
- Put boiled Corns in it and Salt with Curd, mix well.
- Put Garam Masala and roasted Kasoori Methi crushed to it.
- Mix well and close gas.
- Serve hot.
- You can serve it with Roti, Paratha, Naan or Puri and Matar Pulao.
