Dry Chili Paneer Recipe in English

Dry Chili Paneer is very popular among us as this is a dish which is loved by all. Often in the restaurant, we order this dish and eagerly wait for dry chili paneer as it is mouthwatering. If I say that this can be made in your own kitchen easily, Dry Chili paneer recipe is very simple to make and is great in taste. Do try it and serve tasty Dry chili paneer made by you. Dry Chili paneer recipe is available in Hindi and English both.

Ingredients for Dry Chilli Paneer:-

  • Cottage Cheese – 500 gm
  • Onion – 2 big pieces
  • Capsicum – 1 piece
  • Dark soya sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Chinese Chili sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
  • Cornflour – 4 tablespoon
  • Red chili powder – Half teaspoon
  • Black Pepper – Half teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – half kadhai full for deep fry

How to prepare Dry Chili Paneer:-

  • Wash and cut onion and capsicum into big pieces and keep it aside.
  •  Take cottage cheese, cut into big longitudinal pieces and keep it aside.
  • Take a kadhai on high flame and fill it half with oil.
  • Take a bowl and put 2 tablespoons of cornflour and mix it with water to prepare a paste.

  • Put a pinch of red chili powder and salt in it.
  • Now dip paneer pieces in the cornflour mixture and put it in kadhai to deep fry. Be careful as oil can splash.

  • When paneer is little golden, take it out and repeat the process for all paneer pieces.
  • Now take a kadhai on high flame, put 2 tablespoons of oil and ginger garlic paste in it with onion. saute it little to cook, add capsicum and a pinch of red chili powder and salt.

  • Simmer gas, cover with a lid.

  • After 2 minutes open and if capsicum is cooked a little add Dark soya sauce and chili sauce with paneer to it and mix it well.
  • Now add cornflour mixture to it (i.e 2 tablespoon cornflour mixed with little water) in it.

  • As the chili paneer becomes thick, close gas.
