Poori Bhaji Recipe/ Vidhi

Everybody ask to take breakfast king size. Here in India Poori Bhaji is favourite breakfast cum dinner, so tasty and easy to make. Poori Bhaji  is instant to make and great in taste so try it. Poori Bhaji recipe is available in Hindi (हिंदी) and English both.

Step 1: Preparation of Aloo Tamatar ki Bhaji:-

Ingredients for Aloo Tamatar ki Bhaji:-
  • Tomato – 4 finely chopped
  • Oil – 1 table spoon
  • Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Asafetida – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Boiled potato – 3 pieces crushed with hands
  • Fresh coriander – 12 gm finely chopped
  • Green Chilli – 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger – 1 cm grated
  • Garam Masala – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – 150 ml
How to Prepare Aloo Tamatar ki Bhaji:-
  • Take tomatoes and chop it finely.

  • Take a Kadhai /wok and put it on medium gas.
  • Put Oil in it.
  • When Oil is moderate, put a 1/4 teaspoon Asafetida first, followed by Cumin Seeds, when it is fried put Ginger in it, then Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder and Turmeric Powder in it.

  • Mix it well with a Spatula and then put all Tomatoes in it and Salt.

  • Mix it well and then simmer gas, and cover it.

  • After 5 minutes, open the lid and again mix it, again cover lid, repeat it till Tomato and Oil are separated/ Tomatoes are roasted.
  • It takes 10 minutes.

  • Then put all Potatoes in it and Green Chili.
  • Mix it well and leave for 5 minutes.

  • Now add Water to it and put gas on medium.

  • Wait for a boil to come, simmer gas and cover with lid.

  • Leave it for 15 minutes on simmer gas.
  • Add green coriander in it, close gas.
  • Your yummy Kadai wale Tamatar Aloo ki Sabzi is ready to serve.

 Step 2: Preparation of Poori:-

  • Take Kadahi and keep it on high gas and let Oil heat.
  • Now take a small ball on Roller Base and with the help of  Rolling Pin make it round as shown in figure.

  • Till now your Oil is heated, put this in the Oil slowly, and press it softly with a Perforated Spoon so that it will be puffy.

  • When one side is reddish, do it upside down and let other side cook.

  • Now take Poori out in a plate and serve it with Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabji.

  • You can have it in Breakfast and dinner both.

How to serve Poori Bhaji:-

  • We have already learned and prepared Aloo Tamatar ki Bhaji and Hot puffy Pooris as given above.
  • Take out Sabji in a bowl and serve it with Poori.
  • You can also serve Achar and Hari Dhaniya Chutney with it to give it more flavour.
  • Serve hot.
