Tawa Matar Tikki Recipe

Ingredients of Tawa Matar Tikki:-

  • Cook White Matar – 4 table spoon
  • Meethi Chutney – 1 table spoon
  • Curd – 2 table spoon well churned ,with a pinch of salt in it
  • Onion – finely chopped
  • Pure Ghee – 200g
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 teaspoon

How to prepare Tawa Matar Tikki:-

उबली हुई मटर तवे पर boiled matar on tawa

  • After 5 minutes, simmer the gas.
  • Do it upside down in short time period (in 5 minutes approx) with Flat Spatula, When it is reddish and crispy from both sides, close the gas.

  • Hot Tip:- ThisTawa Matar can be served in 2 different ways:-
  • You can put only Onion, Meethi Chutney and squeeze 5-7 drops of Lemon in it with 1/4 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder and Roasted Cumin Powder in it, and for decoration and to enhance taste, if you have Golgappa, crush on it and serve it.
  • Take it in serving plate and put Curd and Meethi Chutney on it, as I have shown in Aloo Tikki, garnish with little Onion on it, sprinkle Red Chili Powder and Coriander Powder on it with Roasted Cumin Powder and if you have Golgappa, then crush it also. Serve it hot.
  • Tawa Matar is very delicious in taste.
